The CTL no longer provides digitization services. If you have physical media that you'd like to digitize (i.e: VHS; DVD; MiniDV), the CTL recommends the following services:- The Digital Humanities Center in Butler Library offers a do-it-yourself media capture station for most physical media, including an all-region DVD player. Available to faculty and students.
- Rafik Video: New York City film and video conversion house providing professional video digitization services.
- Handbrake - Free software, allows you to capture the DVD media, including PAL and convert it to a .mp4 file which you can play from your computer desktop. Computer DVD drive (internal or external) required.
